The history of Locomotiv Microbrewery in Berthierville

Since July 2022, Locomotiv Microbrewery has been putting Berthierville on the map with its unique concept: offering local craft beers, a pub-style menu and a friendly gathering place in the heart of Lanaudière.

Behind this project are three passionate brewers: Denis Pelchat, David Sauvageau and Dave Rondeau. Their mission: to create beers with character that are accessible and representative of Quebec culture.

Locomotiv offers 16 keg lines at any given time, including several beers brewed on site and sometimes aged in barrels. Each recipe showcases the creativity and expertise of our craftsmen.

The experience doesn't stop at beer: the bistro-pub menu offers gourmet smash burgers, generous poutines, nachos and homemade dishes that are the perfect accompaniment to a cold pint. With its spacious terrace, outdoor games and family atmosphere, Locomotiv has quickly become a favorite spot for Berthierville locals and visitors from the Lanaudière region.
