Marché Le Rang 4 products are the freshest you can find, because they follow a direct line from producer to consumer. The Forget family business is one of the few in Quebec to control every stage, from breeding to marketing. "We see every step leading to what you see on our displays. We are pork producers and have our own slaughterhouse in Saint-Ambroise. We also have a cutting and processing room. And our meat comes from pigs raised without antibiotics or growth hormones. The ecological footprint of our products is excellent," assures Marché Le Rang 4 owner Nancie Mailhot.

At Marché Le Rang 4, you'll find fresh cuts of meat and pork products processed in-house, such as ham, bacon, cretons, boudin and sausages. "From the barn to your table, we guarantee Made in Québec quality. Smoked tip, ham on the bone, smoked and white ham, cretons, capicollo, black and white pudding, back bacon and more," describes Nancie Mailhot.

Anything to do with pork, Marché Le Rang 4 can offer. "But we also offer beef and chicken for those who want it," says Mailhot.

You'll also find delicious meals prepared on site (tourtière, ragoût, potage), as well as a wide variety of products from local artisans.

What has contributed to the great reputation of Marché Le Rang 4 is undoubtedly the white ham. "It's one of our trademarks. White ham is drier and less salty. Bacon and black pudding are also very popular. People can also find our products in major chains like Metro and IGA," reveals Ms. Mailhot.
