About Alchimiste Microbrasserie
Founded in 2001 in the heart of downtown Joliette by Carl Dufour, Alchimiste Microbrasserie has quickly become a key player on the Quebec brewing scene. A native of Chibougamau with a passion for the art of beer, Carl traveled the regions of Quebec to perfect his knowledge, giving birth to the first artisanal creations that quickly seduced local enthusiasts in the initial tasting room.
Since autumn 2019, Alchimiste Microbrasserie has had a new lease of life thanks to the arrival of Pol Brisset at the head of the company. Under his leadership, the brewery continues its mission to offer innovative, authentic beers of superior quality, while preserving the pioneering spirit that has always characterized the brand.
Today, Alchimiste Microbrasserie continues to write its history with bold products, a renewed commitment to the local community, and a steadfast passion for Quebec brewing excellence.
