Because Fabienne Mathieu and Frédéric Guitel, the founders, are of European origin. As she is Swiss and he is French from Normandy, they decided to name the cheese dairy after her. It's also a nod to a small region in Normandy that looks very much like the Swiss landscape.
Activities
Over the years, we have developed our facilities to offer a welcoming environment.
Our garden offers you an experience of discovery all along the paths. U-pick flowers are available throughout the summer.
You can come and cuddle the goats.
We've also renovated our old barn, creating a large, sheltered picnic area. What's more, you'll find outdoor tables where you can eat in the sunshine.
The Farm
La Suisse Normande is first and foremost a dairy farm. Over time, and with a view to self-sufficiency, the farm has been shaped while respecting its core values of sustainable agriculture. Today, we are still proud to perpetuate these practices in order to enhance the value of our products from the soil to the plate.
